Casey Richards
Casey Richards has always naturally sought balance in her life. And once she discovered the practice of yoga she realized just how valuable it was. “Yoga balances my need for spiritual and personal reflection with my need for creative movement and creating physical strength and resiliency.”
Initially Casey immersed herself in the 200 hour training course offered at Vitality Yoga Flow in New Paltz, NY as a way to deepen her own practice. But it wasn’t long before she fell in love with the role of guide. She was inspired to share her love of the practice with others and to help motivate them to take care of themselves, their communities and to follow their dreams.
Casey is a certified RYT® 200, and has completed trainings in AcroFit, Yin Yoga, and Meditation. She believes strongly in the transformative power of tuning in with your authentic self and practicing radical acceptance. And she models this behavior for her students, family and friends. Casey’s yoga and acroyoga practices have helped her develop trust, comfort and playfulness within herself and her communities. It is the joy and freedom brought about by these movement and mindfulness based practices that fuel her to teach. Follow Casey on Instagram @caseymoonacro.
