Whether you seek the challenge of steep trails over boulders and cliffs or prefer a relaxing stroll along carriage roads, you’ll find your path on the private property of Mohonk Mountain House. There are 85 miles of winding Hudson Valley hiking trails to experience, ranging in difficulty from beginner to advanced. To prepare for your day of hiking, we recommend that you bring a packed meal, bottled water, rain gear, and headlamp.

We release inventory of our Hiking Trails Passes 72-hours prior to the date of the pass. For example, if you want to visit Mohonk with a hiking trails pass on a Saturday, the earliest you can purchase these passes is the Wednesday prior.

The Hiking Pass is valid from 7am to dusk, regardless of your time slot.

Your hiking pass is good for the date specified on this confirmation. Your hiking pass includes access to the hiking trails on Mohonk Mountain House property. Parking for day guest hiking passes is located adjacent to the  Mohonk Gatehouse, this is approximately 2.2 miles from the Mountain House. There are restroom facilities and vending machines in this parking lot. Day hiking guests are not permitted inside the Mountain House. Hiking passes are non-refundable unless Mohonk closes hiking due to weather or other reasons.
