Summerhouse Map

Mohonk’s iconic summerhouses (featured in hudsonvalleyone.com) have been a longstanding feature throughout the Mountain House property since the 1870s. Inspired by the work of the landscape designer Andrew Jackson Downing, these resting areas were created to provide respite for weary hikers while taking in the scenic vistas of the property. No two are alike and all (except for the Two Story Summerhouse) are created without a plan and purely from the imagination of our Rustic carpenters.
