Join us on the mountaintop for a day of fun. These experiences are designed for residents of the Hudson Valley and their guests to experience our National Historic Landmark resort as a day visitor. Hike to the famous Sky Top Tower, stroll through the Victorian Gardens, and enjoy the sweeping views of the Catskill Mountain region.

Boating on Lake Mohonk
Open now through mid-October
$22 per boat for 30 minutes
Kayaks and paddleboards are available for guests 16 of age or older. Guests under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Rentals are available until 4:30pm and are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Fishing and swimming are limited to overnight guests only.
Rentals include:
- Rowboats (available late April through mid-October)
- Paddleboats (available mid-May through mid-September)
- Canoes (available mid-May through mid-October)
- Kayaks (available late May through mid-September)
- Paddleboards (available late May through mid-September)
Boating at Mohonk is an experience to enjoy in addition to a Day Package and does not include Mountain House access on its own. Please call for more information regarding Day Packages.
Carriage and Hiking Package
Opening late May
$70 per person, based on double occupancy for private seating section in a semi-private carriage for 20-25 minute carriage ride to Copes Lookout
$100 per person, based on double occupancy for private seating section in a semi-private carriage for 40-45 minute carriage ride to Eagle Cliff
Includes:
- Carriage Ride on our historic carriage roads with breathtaking views of our pristine natural landscape.
- Parking in the upper hotel lots.
- History tour of the grounds and surrounding area from our driver.
- Access 85 miles of hiking trails for the entire day including rock scrambles and our Victorian gardens.
- Please note this experience does not include access to the Mountain House.

Semi-Private Horseback Trail Refresher and Hiking Package

$90 per person Monday – Friday
$100 per person Weekends, Holidays, and during the months of August & October
Includes:
- 30-35-minute semi-private trail ride on our historic carriage roads with breathtaking views of our pristine natural landscape.
- Parking in the upper hotel lots.
- Riding tips and horsemanship tips and history tour of the grounds and surrounding area from our guides.
- Access 85 miles of hiking trails for the entire day including rock scrambles and our Victorian gardens.

Join us for ice skating in our open air Pavilion or hit the trails on cross-country skis or snowshoes.
